A few months ago, I suffered one of the worst injuries of my life—a serious shoulder injury that completely changed my routine. It happened during training, and right away I knew something was wrong. The pain was sharp, and I couldn’t move my arm properly. Later, I found out I had torn ligaments and deep inflammation that would take months to heal.

The hardest part wasn’t just the physical pain—it was the mental challenge of staying positive through such a long recovery. I couldn’t play, I couldn’t lift things, and even sleeping was difficult at times. But from the start, I made a decision: I wasn’t going to let this break me.

I began each day with simple stretching exercises. They weren’t intense, just light movements to keep my shoulder from locking up. Even when I didn’t feel like doing it, I forced myself to stretch every morning. It helped more than I expected—not just physically, but mentally too. Every inch of progress felt like a win.

I also kept a journal to track my recovery. Writing down small victories—like lifting my arm a bit higher or getting through a day with less pain—gave me a sense of control and motivation. Slowly but surely, things got better.

Most importantly, I tried to stay positive. I practiced deep breathing, focused on the things I could do, and leaned on the people around me. My family, friends, and teammates reminded me that setbacks are temporary.

Now, after months of hard work, I’m finally getting back to doing what I love. This journey taught me that healing isn’t just about rest—it’s about resilience, consistency, and mindset. And I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
